BHBE Membership 2025-2026

BHBE is truly committed to welcoming all with open arms, regardless of financial circumstance. Please contact our Executive Director, Michael Kahn, to confidentially discuss a membership contribution and/or payment plan within your means. The deadline for financial assistance is June 30, 2025. Our funds for consideration are limited. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that requests made beyond this date will be met.

As is true for many non-profit organizations, our membership dues do not cover all of our operating costs. The cost per household of operating BHBE is approximately $5,250, which is substantially more than the average family’s membership dues.

Due to the ever-increasing need for security, the cost of keeping our congregation safe has increased to nearly $100,000 a year. Because our current membership dues do not cover the ongoing increases in security costs, we have included a new mandatory security fee in addition to our membership dues. We hope that you will support us as we keep our community safe and secure by paying this security fee in full if you are able.

Finally, to receive your High Holiday tickets this fall, your dues must be paid in full or your payment plan must be set up through our system and fully paid by December 31.
