BHBE Membership 2024-2025

Thank you for completing the BHBE membership form for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2024 and ends June 30, 2025. As in the past, all members - current and new - must complete this form. If you have any questions as you complete this, please contact our office at information@bhbe.org or 847-256-1213.

BHBE is truly committed to welcoming all with open arms, regardless of financial circumstance. Please contact our Executive Director, Michael Kahn to confidentially discuss a membership contribution and/or payment plan within your means. The deadline for financial assistance is June 30, 2024. Because our funds for consideration are limited, we cannot guarantee all requests will be met beyond this date.

Membership dues are BHBE’s primary source of revenue, accounting for approximately 55% of our annual income. As such, we rely on your timely renewal to support our expenses.

We have not increased our membership dues for the past two years, although we continue to operate under inflationary pressure that has caused many of our costs to increase over 10% over the past two years.

As is true for many non-profit organizations, our membership dues do not cover our operating costs. The cost per household of operating BHBE is approximately $4,500, an amount that differs significantly from the membership dues that we typically collect.
