Saturday, December 14, 2019: BHBE Film Festival. Meet in the Men's Club at 7:30pm for three great short films, snacks and conversation!
-“Blinker” (1996) Hebrew with English subtitles (it’s funny even without dialogue). “What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.” Mishugas ensues!
-“The Sweater” (1980) In very cute English. For the first time in BHBE Film Festival history, the movie has no Jewish content. In this animated short, Roch recounts the most mortifying moment of his childhood, when he must face his friends wearing the colors of the opposing team.
-“Welcome and Our Condolences” (2000) Hebrew and Russian with English subtitles. Black humored pseudo-documentary about attempting to make aliyah under amusingly difficult circumstances.
Sunday, December 15, 2019: Yoga. From 9:00 - 10:00am with Marcy Kreiter. $5 donation is requested.

(She will teach a great new Hanukkah song with a clear harmony, and then we will film everyone in the room, all ages, singing it together as a multigenerational choir!) No charge.
