at BHBE. Join us at 9:30 am for Shabbat services follwed by a Kiddush luncheon. The festivities continue at 5:45 pm with Havdalah, 6:00 PM for a congregational dinner and at 7:00 pm we will have the official installation by Rabbi Allan Kensky. A dessert reception will follow.

Wednesday mornings, December 11: Rabbi Crane’s morning Adult Ed Class, Introduction to Talmud. Join us at 10:00am to explore the Babylonian Talmud as a literary work, a historical phenomenon and the foundation of rabbinic Judaism. More dates to follow.
Friday, December 13, 2019: Scholar-in-Residence Dinner. After Friday night services, come to SPAK for a delicious dinner and a great presentation by Barry Scott Wimpfheimer, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Law at Northwestern. He'll be talking about Charity in the Talmud: Economics, Ethics and the Experience of Doing Good. Dinner is $28 per Adult, $15 per Child and $75 for the Family Maximum. Kids 3 and under are free.
